Abstract Progress in the fibre optic technology spurred development of optical fibre-based sensors. A successful optics-based element for sensorial systems is Bragg grating. It allows to read measured value by spectral shift light, which variable with a good potential accurate measurement. Various types interrogation light spectrum reflected from measuring grating are discussed this article and work concentrates on scanning that gives chances diminish errors proper choice parameters.
